Paella and Tortilla de patatas (Spanish Omelette) are the most popular Spanish dishes. This festival hosted by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce RSA aims to celebrate Spanish culture and cuisine, whilst providing good networking opportunities for diverse cultures that will be participating in the competition. Bring along your family and friends for a fun filled day!

THE PAELLA COOKING CONTEST

Register your team for the Paella outdoor cooking competition and stand a chance of winning spectacular prizes!

Compete for the best paella, be it traditional or innovative!

Paella contestants are limited to 4 people per team. There are a maximum of 10 teams allowed.

Please take note that teams will have to supply their own ingredients and equipment to participate.



THE TORTILLA DE PATATA COMPETITION

Register yourself for the Tortilla de Patatas competition.

Please take note that individual contestants who register themselves for the Tortilla de Patatas competition have to prepare the dish at home and bring it to Valverde.

ENTRANCE FOR THE COMPETITIONS ARE FREE.

The will be a number of prizes awarded during the day, including two business class airline tickets to Spain with TAAG Angola Airlines and a weekend away.
